Terms of Use
Last updated: June 13, 2026
These terms are written for Nuri's pre-launch waitlist and web app beta. They should be reviewed by counsel before a broad public or paid launch.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Nuri, including heynuri.app, the waitlist, the web app, supplement label scanning, stack reviews, emails, and related services. By using Nuri, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Nuri.
2. Educational support only
Nuri provides educational supplement safety support. Nuri does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency services, or professional pharmacy services.
Nuri does not decide whether a supplement or medicine is safe for you. You are responsible for consulting a licensed doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified professional before starting, stopping, combining, or changing supplements or medicines.
3. Emergency and high-risk situations
Do not use Nuri for emergencies. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
Ask a clinician or pharmacist before using supplements if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney or liver concerns, take blood thinners, take transplant medicines, take medicines for diabetes, take thyroid medicine, have a serious medical condition, or are unsure whether a supplement is appropriate.
4. Beta and pre-launch status
Nuri is currently in a pre-launch and beta development stage. Features may change, be limited, contain errors, or be unavailable. We may pause, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time.
Waitlist signup does not guarantee access, launch timing, pricing, or availability.
5. Accounts and security
You may need to sign in with Google or another supported authentication provider to use app features. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity that occurs through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. User content and accuracy
You are responsible for the information you enter or upload, including supplement labels, supplement names, ingredients, doses, schedules, medicines, and health context. Nuri's output depends on the accuracy and completeness of that information.
AI extraction can be wrong. You must review and confirm extracted supplement facts before relying on them or saving them to your stack.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Nuri for emergencies, diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing decisions.
- Upload information you do not have the right to upload.
- Upload malware, illegal content, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Attempt to access another user's data or interfere with Nuri's security.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or abuse the service.
- Use Nuri to build a competing dataset or service without permission.
8. AI output and safety rules
Nuri may use deterministic safety rules and AI-generated explanations. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Nuri's labels such as Looks OK, Watch, Ask clinician, or Avoid until reviewed are educational prompts, not professional decisions.
Do not rely on Nuri as the only source for medication or supplement decisions. Always verify important health questions with a qualified professional.
9. Payments and subscriptions
Nuri is currently focused on waitlist and beta access. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and trial terms will be shown before purchase. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party payment provider.
10. Intellectual property
Nuri, including the brand, design, software, text, graphics, mascot, logos, and product experience, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Nuri except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
11. Third-party services
Nuri relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, AI processing, and payments. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
12. Disclaimers
Nuri is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuri and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, health decisions, or reliance on educational output.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Nuri from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Nuri, your violation of these terms, your content, or your violation of another person's rights.
15. Changes and termination
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the website, email, or app. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk, or used Nuri in a harmful way.
16. Governing law
The governing law and dispute forum should be finalized before paid public launch based on Nuri's operating entity and target markets. Until then, these terms should be interpreted to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Contact us at support@heynuri.app with questions about these terms.
